Cabinet

At the Council meeting on 17 June 2009 Councillor Arthur Taylor was re-elected as Chairman of the Isle of Wight Council and Councillor Ian Stephens was elected Vice Chairman.

Councillor David Pugh was re-elected Leader of the Isle of Wight Council.  He will also be the Cabinet Member for Governance and School Improvement.

Councillor George Brown was elected Deputy Leader.  He will also be the Cabinet Member for the Economy, Tourism, Leisure and Planning.
