  • Public exhibition about the future of the Military Road

    The Isle of Wight Council is inviting residents to submit comments about the future of the Military Road. The council is now looking at a number of options and is keen to gather the views of residents. The closing date for comments has now been extended until midnight on Monday 6th September 2010.

    Library Service Review

    A complete review of the Island's library service is currently being undertaken by the council as part of the wider review of council frontline services. To have your say please complete the survey here.

  • Shoreline Management Plan (SMP)

    The Isle of Wight Shoreline Management Plan (SMP) outlines draft proposals to manage coastal flooding and erosion risks over the next 100 years. The Draft SMP, including proposed policies for the coast, is now available for your comments. Please visit www.coastalwight.gov.uk/smp for details, including the Consultation Response Form. The consultation period is open from 23 July to 23 October 2010.
