A series of musical events to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the defence of Cowes by the Polish Destroyer ORP Blyskawica. Please support this a weekend of remembrance for the people of Cowes & the Island who lost their lives on 28th April & 4th May 1942
Mayfest is a traditional weekend of Maypole dancing, Morris Dancing, live music, great food, real ale and cider and a whole host of other activities
Railway enthusiasts and beer lovers alike will be spoilt for choice by this unique opportunity to sample the Island's top brewery blends, fine ales & a selection of bottled conditioned beers, English country wines & traditional cider. Festival admission is free & many other mainland breweries also contribute

This extremely popular event attracts huge numbers from all over the world, boasting over 300 guided walks that cater for all ages and abilities
First established in 1985, this cycling expedition provides a choice of 100km and 55km rides around the Island taking minor roads and lanes enabling the rider to see and enjoy the best of the Island's scenery
After a sell-out successful launch in 2011, Wolverton Manor, Shorwell will once again provide the stunning backdrop to this exciting Island event. The live music stage will provide a full programme, featuring the best of the Island’s Folk & Blues musicians, from acoustic duos to full electric bands, including Beachcomber, Lucid, The Whisky River Band, Scarecrow, MoonShiners, Rachel’s Reason, Grizzled Skipper, Jamie Griffin, The Herd and The DollyMopps
A long distance sponsored walk, with proceeds going to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice. Walk the Wight is the largest charity walk in the South offering a choice of three distances; Bembridge to Needles Park (26.5 miles), Bembridge to Carisbrooke (12.5 miles), Carisbrooke to Needles Park (14 miles). There is also a flat walk (8 miles) from Sandown to Newport along the cycle trails/old railway line
A 20 mile cycling, 8 mile running and 3 mile open canoeing challenge. Competitors take part in teams of three to have fun and raise money for Wessex Heartbeat
The annual regatta will take place near the Ryde Rowing Club Appley Park Clubhouse, with a course set out to the east of Ryde Harbour approach channel, at the eastern end of Ryde Canoe Lake
