Welcome to Isle of Wight Council Car Parks Department Web Pages.

The Car Parks Department is a small section of Engineering Services consisting of Office Staff and Parking Attendants.

In the Car Parks Department we deal with:

  • Administration of all Council owned Pay and Display parking – both on and off Street.
  • Administration of Parking Permits – both General and Resident Permits.
  • Car Parking policy and planning, including preparation and implementation of Isle of Wight Parking Places Order.
  • Administration of Income derived from parking tariffs, excess charges and permits.
  • Offering advice on all aspects of parking on the Island.
