Early Help Assessment (EHA)

Introduction

Family group

The Early Help Assessment (EHA) is a way of working with children and young people. It involves listening to you and your child, to find out your child’s needs, and what is working well in their life. An action plan will be agreed with you and your child and is put in place to make sure your child gets the right sort of help. The EHA is voluntary, you and your child can choose whether to be involved.

If you are thinking of completing a EHA you must in the first instance call Hants Direct:

  • If you are a professional please call 0300 300 0901.
  • If you are a member of the public please call 0300 300 0117.

If you have any queries regarding an existing EHA you can call the EHA team who are based at County Hall, they can be contacted by phone or email. Please click on the contact tab above to see our contact details or fill out the 'send a message to service' form.
